Education and Training in Mechatronics and Precision
Engineering
During June 8-10, 2006, at
Within the discussions
around the topic of Education and
Training in Mechatronics and Precision Engineering, the EUI-Net activities were
presented by Assoc. Prof. Simona Lache, based on a paper written in cooperation
with Assoc. Prof. Marcela Luca and entitled “Modern Tools For Promoting Education, Research And
Innovation In Mechatronics, In The View Of Bologna Process Implementation”. The paper describes the recent experience of Transilvania University
of Brasov, through the cooperation of different departments (Department of
Precision Mechanics and Mechatronics, Department of Strength of Materials and
Mechanical Vibrations, Department of Product Design and Robotics, Department of
Electrotechnics, Department of Psychology) in implementing of modern tools for
identifying the generic and specific competences in the mechatronics field. The
study was carried out within the framework of EUI-Net and refers both to the
educational process and the student practical placement.
