TUNING
INDUSTRIAL EDUCATIONAL STRUCTURES IN EUROPE
- European research on generic and specific competences and skills in the
engineering field
One of the
objectives of the EUI-Net project is to update and upgrade continuously
the curricula and syllabi in engineering education, in order to make them
compatible with those of other European universities and to contribute to
the European innovation process.
In this respect,
the project team launched the Tuning research on two areas: (i) to define
and update the generic and specific competencies in the University specialisations relevant to the industrial sector, and (ii)
to define and update the generic and specific competences for practical stages of students in
industry.
Feedback coming
from employers and former graduates that already work in industrial
encounters will help universities to tune their curricula to the present
reality of the industry. The perspective of academics will be also taken
into account in this process of research. The information will be
collected using online questionnaires for which all partners will be
invited to provide feedback but also respondents
from all Europe.
The research
team is grateful for your contribution in this challenging attempt! [more]
