During July 7-9 2005 the International Conference on Sustainable Energy took place at Transilvania University , in cooperation with the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research, the Technical University of Delft etc. In the section 5 (Education on Sustainable Energy), Professor Elena Helerea presented the TN Socrates project EUI-Net - European University Industry Cooperation, which approaches the transversal theme of the university role in a knowledge-based society. It has been stressed Cooperation University - Industry should be one of the axes of the sustainable society.
