The consortium of the EUI-Net
encompasses members belonging to industrial and educational field.
Although Tuning research are activities included in SIG1 and SIG2, all
members are invited to participate in the research aimed to establish a
competency profile for engineering studies for the first and second
cycle. The starting point of the research is the Tuning project which
established already competency profiles for a number of areas: business,
chemistry, education sciences, geology, history, mathematics, and
physics.
EUI-Net covers
29 countries and aims to extend the research for the subjects of
relevance for the industrial
sectors. Thus, the initial Tuning research scope will be extended,
and a new dimension will be added. In this respect, questionnaires for
generic and specific competencies in engineering will be elaborated and
distributed to all network members till the end of September.
As is stated in the project,
